Sr. Engineer - ENG PLAN Area Station P&A

About the Role

The role involves collaborating with customers, internal stakeholder groups, renewable‑energy developers, utilities, and government funding agencies to identify clean‑energy project solutions, recommend load‑relief measures, and coordinate feasibility and implementation across planning, engineering, and operations teams. • Plan and design sub‑transmission feeder, area substation, and 4 kV unit‑substation infrastructure. • Identify and evaluate clean‑energy project solutions in partnership with stakeholders and funding agencies. • Develop subject‑matter expertise in area‑substation planning and load‑relief recommendations. • Coordinate feasibility studies and project implementation across planning, engineering, and operations teams. • Provide engineering and business support for new planning processes to ready the grid for clean‑energy integration. • Drive cross‑disciplinary results and contribute to Con Edison’s clean‑energy transition goals.
