About the Role
MIG Welding I‑Beam Frames and Fuel Tanks using GMAW (MIG / MAG) methods in flat, vertical, and overhead positions; material thickness ranges from 10 gauge up to ½ inch. Clamping, holding, tack welding, grinding, or bolting component parts into place using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines, or hand tools. Inspect equipment and products for defects or malfunctions. • Perform MIG welding on I‑beam frames and fuel tanks in flat, vertical, and overhead positions (10 ga to ½ in thick). • Clamp, tack weld, grind, or bolt components using hoists, cranes, wire/banding machines, and hand tools. • Inspect equipment and products for defects and malfunctions. • Read blueprints and accurately use measuring tools. • Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and communicate effectively. • Wear full welding PPE and employ standard trade tools. • Access job opportunities via the TradeGig app and set notifications.

What You Bring
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial / Manufacturing MIG Welders for projects located in and around Milwaukee, WI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $22/hour based on experience plus $100 per diem for travelers more than 60 miles from the job site. After 30 days, there will be a $2/hour increase based on performance, attendance, and attitude. Candidates must pass a weld test, competency test, pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and a math test involving fractions, and be able to read blueprints and measuring tools. They should be able to troubleshoot, problem‑solve, communicate effectively, and be highly motivated, team‑oriented, and detail‑focused. Full welding PPE and standard tools of the trade are required. • Pass weld, competency, pre‑employment physical, drug, and math tests.
