About the Role

MIG Welding I‑Beam Frames and Fuel Tanks using GMAW (MIG / MAG) methods in flat, vertical, and overhead positions; material thickness ranges from 10 gauge up to ½ inch. Clamping, holding, tack welding, grinding, or bolting component parts into place using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines, or hand tools. Inspect equipment and products for defects or malfunctions. • Perform MIG welding on I‑beam frames and fuel tanks in flat, vertical, and overhead positions (10 ga to ½ in thick). • Clamp, tack weld, grind, or bolt components using hoists, cranes, wire/banding machines, and hand tools. • Inspect equipment and products for defects and malfunctions. • Read blueprints and accurately use measuring tools. • Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and communicate effectively. • Wear full welding PPE and employ standard trade tools. • Access job opportunities via the TradeGig app and set notifications.

What You Bring

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial / Manufacturing MIG Welders for projects located in and around Milwaukee, WI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $22/hour based on experience plus $100 per diem for travelers more than 60 miles from the job site. After 30 days, there will be a $2/hour increase based on performance, attendance, and attitude. Candidates must pass a weld test, competency test, pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and a math test involving fractions, and be able to read blueprints and measuring tools.
