About the Role
KBR is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator to support HQ Space Training and Readiness Command at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. The role involves provisioning computer accounts, troubleshooting connectivity and configuration issues, and interacting with senior military leaders. The position provides technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, and software, offers guidance on Windows and peripheral mapping, configures government‑issued cell phones, resolves error messages, opens trouble tickets, and supports users across all STARCOM headquarters locations within contract‑specified timelines. The incumbent will manage NIPRNet and SIPRNET accounts, set up and modify classified internet and email access, and address connectivity problems while ensuring compliance with security requirements. • Provide technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, and software. • Offer guidance on Microsoft Windows usage, drive mapping, and browser configuration. • Configure and maintain government‑issued mobile phones. • Diagnose error messages, implement solutions, and create trouble tickets. • Support STARCOM HQ users and resolve issues within PWS timelines. • Administer NIPRNet and SIPRNET accounts and classified email access. • Troubleshoot connectivity and configuration problems. • Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and Security+ certification.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance, a Security+ certification, and at least five years of DoD network support experience, along with knowledge of USAF and US Space Force IT policies, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and with senior leaders in a high‑tempo environment. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and experience in headquarters, combatant command, or MAJCOM/field command settings. The role is full‑time, on‑site with minimal travel, and offers a 40‑hour work week. • Possess 5+ years of DoD network support experience and knowledge of USAF/Space Force IT policies. • Demonstrate strong communication, multi‑tasking, and ability to work with senior leaders.
