About the Role
The role focuses on ensuring timely and accurate shipment and invoicing of all orders, handling all necessary shipping documentation, and assigning products to trucks based on orders and inventory. The employee will meet quantity and quality goals, prioritize urgent orders, collaborate with carriers, sales, and customer service, load trucks, prepare routing paperwork, label, pack, and ship items, and perform clerical tasks to guarantee precise deliveries. • Ship and invoice orders accurately and on schedule • Generate Bills of Lading and required shipping documents • Assign products to trucks using shipping orders and inventory data • Ensure quantity and quality targets are achieved for all shipments • Prioritize and dispatch urgent orders as requested • Coordinate with carriers, sales, and customer service to optimize performance • Load trucks, prepare routing paperwork, print labels, pack and ship items • Perform clerical duties to maintain accurate shipment records

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least two years of shipping experience (manufacturing preferred), forklift certification is a plus, be proficient in SAP, Excel, and Outlook, possess strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and be able to stand for an eight‑hour shift and lift up to 50 lb. Only applicants within 50 mi of Richmond, VA (or active‑duty military) will be considered; relocation assistance is not offered. • High School Diploma or GED required • Minimum 2 years shipping experience, preferably in manufacturing • Forklift certification strongly preferred • Proficient with SAP, Excel, and Outlook • Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities • Ability to stand/walk an 8‑hour shift and lift up to 50 lb • Candidates must reside within 50 mi of Richmond, VA; active‑duty military exempt; no relocation benefit
