About the Role

The Regional Manager is tasked with addressing field‑based assignments within a designated region or specific “store within a store” location, as well as on a national scale. Their primary objective is to rehabilitate these locations, restoring performance to operational standards and profitability goals, and ensuring a smooth transition back to regular management. The manager acts as an agile operator, adapting to business needs and maintaining proactive communication with the Regional Director about all operational aspects. Assignments may last up to ten weeks, requiring rapid relocation and full responsibility for areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and daily operations. In this role the manager will oversee the complete Talent Acquisition process for Sales Representatives and may also participate in Store Manager interviews. The position currently oversees the following retail locations: Bass Pro – Manteca, CA; Bass Pro – Rocklin, CA; Bass Pro – San Jose, CA; GWL – Manteca, CA. • Rehabilitate underperforming stores to achieve operational standards and profitability goals. • Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Director on all operational aspects. • Relocate rapidly for assignments up to ten weeks and assume full managerial responsibilities. • Oversee Talent Acquisition for Sales Representatives and participate in Store Manager interviews. • Drive Learning & Development programs and manage daily store operations.
