About the Role
The position provides effective leadership coaching and coordination for the asset team across five crews, ensuring mill objectives are met for safety, quality, cost, delivery and people development. You will actively demonstrate safety as a core value, influence mindsets, and address risks to prevent loss to people, processes, and materials while complying with OSHA regulations and corporate policies. Leadership will be required to establish and sustain standards, strengthen communication, and maintain positive employee relations in a non‑union environment. • Demonstrate safety leadership, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure OSHA and corporate policy compliance. • Lead and coordinate five crews to meet standards for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development. • Strengthen communication and accountability within self‑managed teams. • Maintain positive employee relations in a non‑union mill environment. • Develop and execute plans to build technician capability and provide coaching for career growth. • Drive lean capability development, utilizing lean tools and evolving daily accountability and standard work. • Oversee maintenance activities and mechanical process changes to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations. • Evaluate engineering recommendations for product or process innovations aligned with operational goals. • Implement special plant and corporate projects to achieve cost management, profitability, and production targets. • Ensure effective application and audit of internal control systems, policies, and procedures. • Lead system, process, and standard improvements to enhance operational effectiveness. • Provide leadership for focused improvement initiatives to build peer capability.

Compensation for this M2/Grade 9 role ranges from $105,740 to $130,620 USD, with eligibility for a target bonus, 401(k), profit‑sharing, and a comprehensive benefits suite.
