About the Role

The role focuses on General Ledger functions, covering the full closing cycle, financial statement accuracy, and compliance with GAAP and internal policies. You will manage fixed‑asset tracking, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and support audit activities while collaborating on cross‑functional finance projects. • Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing and consolidation processes. • Perform inter‑company transactions and reconcile balances. • Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and internal policies. • Manage fixed assets and balance‑sheet reconciliations. • Enforce compliance with firm’s financial and operating policies. • Liaise with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits. • Contribute to ad‑hoc finance projects as needed.

Candidates should hold a post‑graduate degree in accounting or a professional accountancy qualification and have at least six years of GL experience in a multinational environment. The ideal applicant can lead work as an individual contributor, multitask in a fast‑paced setting, and work both independently and as a team player. • Post‑graduate degree in Accounting or relevant professional qualification. • Minimum six years of General Ledger experience in a multinational corporation. • Proven ability to lead work at an individual contributor level. • Strong multitasking skills in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. • Team player who can also work independently. • Knowledge of US GAAP and experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, or large‑scale ERP systems. • Excellent Excel and communication skills. • Ability to meet SLAs with on‑shore finance teams and improve internal procedures.
