About the Role

The role involves planning, implementing, and overseeing VDC processes using platforms such as BIM/VDC for modeling, cost estimation, 4D phase planning, site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization and coordination, site utilization, construction system design, digital fabrication, control planning and record modeling. The coordinator serves as the point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports throughout all construction phases, assists with training, encourages active participation in the Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice, manages daily work planning, documents process improvements, and performs other assigned duties. • Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes using BIM/VDC platforms (modeling, cost estimation, 4D planning, etc.). • Serve as primary VDC point of contact for the construction team throughout all project phases. • Provide training and support on VDC tools and workflows. • Promote active participation in the Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice. • Manage daily work planning and document process improvements.

Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator I – Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator I to join our Advanced Manufacturing Group to implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout phases of a project. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever‑changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role. Candidates should hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field, and have at least two years of relevant experience. Required software proficiency includes Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D, Trimble SketchUp, and Bluebeam Revu, as well as Autodesk BIM 360 Field, Glue, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Point Layout, Faro Scene, Google Earth Pro, and Adobe Suite. Familiarity with game engine technologies, parametric analysis tools, key‑frame animation and rendering is preferred. Additional expectations include intermediate BIM/VDC training, detail orientation, basic understanding of construction law, intermediate Microsoft Office and web application skills, a professional attitude, strong communication and teamwork abilities, openness to feedback, a valid driver’s license, and full‑time presence on the project site. • Hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in civil/construction engineering or a related field. • Possess at least two years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, BIM 360 Field, Glue, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Point Layout, Faro Scene, Google Earth Pro, and Adobe Suite. • Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, Lumion, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Solibri, and 2D/3D rendering is a plus. • Complete intermediate‑level BIM/VDC software training. • Exhibit strong detail orientation, communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, and leadership skills. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and work full‑time on‑site.

Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $96,400‑$130,100, with higher ranges for certain locations (e.g., Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Washington, D.C.). Base salary is determined by knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, and the position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
