About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel management, leasing, maintenance, financial oversight, administration, and risk management while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. • Develop and manage annual operating budgets and forecasts to achieve net operating income targets. • Create and execute yearly marketing and leasing plans to maximize occupancy. • Resolve resident complaints, implement retention programs, and ensure high resident satisfaction. • Oversee administrative reporting, rent collection, vendor invoice processing, and property closeout. • Lead emergency response team and coordinate property emergencies according to company guidelines. • Direct maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities, ensuring quality and timely completion. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, and Asset Living policies and procedures. • Maintain property appearance through regular inspections and timely repairs. • Meet physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and responding to after‑hours emergencies. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency responsibilities.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least a high school diploma (a bachelor’s degree or relevant housing experience is preferred), and certifications such as CAM or ARM are advantageous. The role requires basic computer proficiency, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA, and the physical ability to perform duties that may involve standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and responding to emergencies on evenings and weekends. • Hold at least a high school diploma; bachelor’s degree or housing experience preferred; CAM or ARM certification favored. • Demonstrate basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software functions.
