About the Role
The intern will provide general and department‑specific administrative support for HR processes and initiatives across the headquarters or business‑unit HR team. Key functions include data integrity, system utilization, and coordination of HR activities. Core responsibilities involve supporting the company’s culture, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and leveraging various HR technology platforms. The intern will assist with data management, reporting, and compliance‑related activities. Talent acquisition duties include interview coordination, candidate communication, and participation in recruitment events. Additional responsibilities cover meeting support, compliance tracking, event logistics, and continuous‑improvement contributions. • Assist diversity and inclusion initiatives across the company. • Use HRIS, ATS, LMS, and talent management systems to complete assigned tasks. • Administer employee information changes and ensure data integrity in HR systems. • Maintain electronic personnel files for legal compliance and records retention. • Create and generate HR reports to meet internal requests. • Support HR-related audit requests. • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with applicants and candidates. • Support college recruitment and career fair activities, including scheduling visits and distributing materials. • Distribute onboarding materials to new hires. • Provide support for Business Unit availability and needs meetings. • Assist with OFCCP regulatory compliance tracking as directed. • Coordinate pre‑event materials, programs, and logistics for training events. • Assist in preparation for HR meetings or events. • Participate in A3 problem‑solving and suggest continuous‑improvement ideas. • Work independently with oversight and collaboratively within a team.

What You Bring
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Human Resources, Social/Organizational Psychology, or a related field and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and computer skills. The position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with occasional travel and lifting up to 25 lb. Physical demands include frequent sitting, use of hands, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lb, with reasonable accommodations provided. Work is performed primarily in an office or remote setting, with occasional exposure to construction sites and moderate noise, adhering to safety policies. • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Social/Organizational Psychology, or a related field. • Demonstrate an approachable, proactive client‑service attitude and active listening skills. • Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities. • Exhibit high organization, prioritization, and escalation capabilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications.
