HVAC Technical Solutions Engineer

About the Role

In this role you will connect customers directly to Carrier’s UK&I Data Centre team, handling both standard and complex orders. You will support the project delivery team by coordinating manufacturing, logistics and commissioning activities, and assist the sales team with customer enquiries and tender bids. Direct engagement with clients, consultants and designers will be required to produce detailed and accurate selections, while you manage the end‑to‑end post‑order process from receipt through to delivery. You will oversee the review and approval of technical submittals with the project management team and act as the main post‑sale contact, providing clear and proactive communication. Additionally, you will support cash collection, deliver accurate sales invoicing forecasts, and act as an operational interface between sales, finance, logistics, factories and Carrier Climate Solutions Europe Customer Care leadership. • Connect customers to Carrier’s UK&I Data Centre team and manage both standard and complex orders. • Coordinate manufacturing, logistics and commissioning activities for project delivery. • Assist sales with customer enquiries and tender bid preparation. • Engage clients, consultants and designers to produce accurate product selections. • Manage the end‑to‑end post‑order process from receipt through delivery. • Review and approve technical submittals with the project management team. • Provide proactive post‑sale communication and support to customers. • Support cash collection and generate accurate sales invoicing forecasts. • Act as the operational liaison between sales, finance, logistics, factories and CSE Customer Care. • Influence cross‑functional stakeholders and handle escalations in a matrix organisation.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a technical sales or project delivery role within HVAC, building services or a similar industry, and a strong technical knowledge base. Experience supporting multi‑disciplinary teams, handling tender enquiries, product selections, technical submittals and post‑order handover processes is essential. Strong stakeholder management, communication, organisational, prioritisation and decision‑making skills are required to influence cross‑functional teams in a matrix organisation and manage multiple competing demands in a fast‑paced environment. • Demonstrate technical sales or project delivery experience in HVAC or building services.
