About the Role
Within the Land, Infrastructure Planning and Engagement unit, you will manage public consultation, act as a trusted client advisor, and work collaboratively with colleagues across WSP to deliver engaging communications. • Deliver stakeholder engagement strategies and communication activities for UK infrastructure projects. • Create clear communications to help communities understand project impacts and manage design/print processes. • Publish communications, organise events, and run surveys to gather public questions and feedback. • Analyse and present feedback data, highlighting themes and key issues for responsible project development. • Provide client advice and develop virtual consultation rooms, posters, banners, maps, and community engagement events domestically and internationally. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute effective communication and engagement initiatives. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations.

What You Bring
WSP is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join its growing Engagement team, driving best practice in community relations, consultation, and stakeholder management across large infrastructure projects and sectors such as water, health, energy, and the environment. • Demonstrated experience delivering communication and engagement on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. • Degree‑qualified or at least four years’ relevant experience. • Experience in road, rail, utilities, water, environment or energy sectors. • Proven ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships. • Excellent written communication skills for strategies and reports. • Structured, adaptable approach to task delivery in fast‑changing environments. • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills for varied workloads. • Membership of a relevant professional or trade body (desirable).
