About the Role
The Assistant Facilities Manager role tackles engineering challenges and works closely with the chief engineer to uphold high standards in preventive maintenance and conservation. Responsibilities include monitoring mechanical and electrical projects for quality and timely delivery, producing accurate facility management reports, and handling contract and procurement management for technical services while meeting financial targets, KPIs, and service level agreements. In this position you will develop and maintain best‑practice systems, overseeing on‑site mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil installations. You will create critical spare‑parts lists, plan maintenance inventory, implement pre‑emptive maintenance programs, keep logbooks and checklists up to date, and arrange ad‑hoc M&E setups as required by the client. • Maintain preventive maintenance programs and conservation practices. • Monitor M&E projects for quality and timely delivery. • Produce accurate facility management reports. • Manage facility, contract, and procurement activities for technical services. • Achieve financial targets, KPIs, and service level agreements. • Oversee on‑site MEP and civil maintenance installations. • Prepare critical spare‑parts lists based on manufacturer recommendations. • Plan and maintain maintenance inventory and preventive schedules. • Keep logbooks, checklists, and schedules up to date. • Arrange ad‑hoc M&E setups per client requirements.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and have three to seven years of facilities management experience. The role requires the ability to collaborate within diverse teams, contributing both as a leader and as an individual contributor. • Hold a diploma or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. • Possess 3–7 years of facilities management experience. • Demonstrate ability to work in diverse teams as leader or contributor.
