About the Role

• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete leasing paperwork, assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover process. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, meet closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with annual marketing plan, conduct market surveys, and produce weekly market reports. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and uphold community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.

What You Bring

The Leasing Consultant role focuses on all aspects of leasing, marketing, and resident relations, with a preference for experience in affordable‑housing programs such as LIHTC, HUD Section 8, USDA Rural Development, and other federal or state initiatives. • Require a High School Diploma or equivalent and basic computer/software proficiency. • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA requirements, and basic on‑site software functions. • Preferred experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, USDA, HOME, etc.). • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb, work overtime, weekends, nights, and in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
