About the Role

KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion • Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site, overseeing logistics and maintenance operations. The APS-3 program is executed from Goose Creek to support the Army’s power projection doctrine, providing maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) and additional logistical support for other Army programs. • Manage and escalate GCSS‑Army incident reports to the Service Desk. • Train contractor personnel on daily GCSS‑Army functions for APS‑3 and special projects in TUC 930 and 960. • Provide troubleshooting assistance for critical warehouse processes. • Develop job aids and work instructions for SSA/warehouse operations. • Create teaching outlines and select instructional methods based on training needs. • Generate reports related to training and GCSS‑Army user activity.

The GCSS‑Army Technical Instructor/Course Developer role requires deep knowledge of Warehouse and Unit Supply Operations (92A Automated Logistics Specialist) and is responsible for developing and delivering classroom and practical training for TUC 930 and 960 areas. The incumbent manages and escalates GCSS‑Army incident reports, troubleshoots critical warehouse processes, and utilizes expertise in GCSS‑Army transactions such as Excess and Reparable Management, Plant 2000/2001 MRP, and BI Launch Pad reporting, while also leveraging Microsoft Office tools. Reporting to the Logistic Information System Instructor/Training Manager, this on‑site position (non‑remote) requires a High School diploma, a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). Physical demands include standing 5‑6 hours, walking 3‑4 hours, lifting up to 35‑50 lbs, and performing squat, kneel, bend, reach, and climb tasks in both indoor and outdoor, non‑climate‑controlled environments. • High School diploma required. • Valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License. • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). • Ability to stand 5‑6 hours, walk 3‑4 hours, lift up to 35‑50 lbs, and perform squat/kneel/bend activities. • Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled indoor and outdoor environments. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (not required). • Experience as a DoD contractor, GSA employee, or uniformed military. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Knowledge of SSA core processes, Excess and Reparable Management, and Plant 2000/2001 MRP. • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) Launch Pad supply reports. • Proficiency in GCSS‑Army troubleshooting, GTRAC system, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
