About the Role
In this role you will drive new product commercialization by planning and overseeing launches across multiple strategic business units, leading segment‑specific marketing and development plans, and creating demand through problem investigation, product modification recommendations, and coordination with the salesforce. What You Bring
The Business Development Manager role is a remote/field‑based position with approximately 60% travel, preferably based on a coastal location in the United States. It sits within Stanley Black & Decker's End User Strategy team and supports a portfolio of iconic brands such as DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, and STANLEY®. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree—preferably in Business Management or Engineering—and brings over ten years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field. Strong relationship‑building, influencing, and team‑alignment abilities are essential, as is accountability for results and the capacity to resolve end‑user issues collaboratively. • Bachelor’s degree (Business Management or Engineering preferred). • 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or related fields. • Proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and influence strategy. • Strong team‑building, accountability, and problem‑resolution skills. • Ability to collaborate with internal teams to address end‑user issues.
