About the Role

• Analyze field data to design cost‑efficient fiber/copper network routes per customer specifications. • Review road prints, utility maps and as‑builts to identify conflicts with existing infrastructure. • Collaborate with vendors, GIS and CAD teams to produce documentation for permit applications. • Follow detailed procedures while adapting to changing standards and requirements. • Coordinate forecasting, scheduling, resource management and quality assurance with the project team. • Review deliverables for accuracy, flag risks and recommend mitigations to project management. • Manage scope changes, change orders and routine billing in partnership with project managers. • Ensure integrity of the customer access network and support deployment of access technologies. • Complete as‑built packages and assist with billing closeout.

What You Bring

Candidates must have solid OSP engineering experience, knowledge of federal, state and local permitting, and proficiency with design tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, OCalc, and GIS platforms. Strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to produce accurate documentation are required. A bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though a technical diploma is acceptable, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is mandatory. • Experience designing OSP aerial, buried and underground fiber and copper networks. • Knowledge of federal, state and local permitting, pole and conduit licensing with utility agencies. • Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, OCalc, 3‑GIS or similar GIS/KMZ platforms. • Strong oral and written communication skills with a sense of urgency. • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field (or technical diploma). • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation. • Ability to pass background, employment history and drug screening.
