About the Role
The Material Handler provides manufacturing expertise and support, including planning, verifying, storing, organizing, and allocating materials. The role requires a strong adherence to quality and continuous improvement across all functions. The handler operates hand‑held RF units to locate, move, and allocate material, fulfills production‑plan and material‑request moves, kits parts and components for production lines, and maintains inventory levels through daily monitoring, cycle counts, and system updates. Additional duties include loading and unloading trucks, inspecting material for damage, reporting irregularities or equipment malfunctions, and performing 5S housekeeping. • Operate hand‑held RF units to locate, move, and allocate materials. • Move material according to production plans and material requests. • Kit parts and components and distribute accurate kits to production lines. • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and update the inventory system. • Load and unload trucks, inspect material for damage, and report irregularities. • Drive and inspect forklifts daily and perform 5S housekeeping duties.

What You Bring
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and preferably six months of experience operating material‑handling equipment. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lb, stand for extended periods, use good judgment with a safety focus, work overtime or flex to other locations, and be willing to become forklift certified. • High school diploma or GED required; 6 months experience with material‑handling equipment preferred. • Ability to lift 50 lb, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting. • Willingness to obtain forklift certification. • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flex to different plants as needed.
