About the Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding client expectations, planning and staffing key field positions, establishing project objectives and performance standards, and maintaining liaison with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. They direct the on‑site superintendent to keep projects on schedule and budget, represent the company at meetings, manage contract financials, coordinate departmental activities, interpret designs, oversee material deliveries, resolve drawing conflicts, and produce required documentation. Additional duties include providing technical direction, presenting design discrepancies, measuring building control lines, monitoring progress for monthly billing, and completing assignments from the Division Manager. • Ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded on assigned projects. • Plan, organize, and staff key field positions in collaboration with leadership. • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines. • Initiate and maintain liaison with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate construction activities. • Direct on‑site superintendent to keep projects on schedule and within budget, investigating issues and applying corrective actions. • Represent the company at meetings and assist in labor negotiations and strategy sessions. • Manage contract financials including fee payments, equipment rentals, and income/expenses while maintaining stakeholder relationships. • Coordinate departmental activities, resolve problems, and enforce company policies throughout the project lifecycle. • Interpret project designs and drawings for craft crews and ensure proper installation. • Schedule and oversee material deliveries and subcontractor requirements. • Research and resolve drawing conflicts, prepare field design change requests and “as‑built” drawings. • Produce and distribute documentation such as status reports, punch lists, work sketches, and material calculations. • Provide technical direction to engineers, crafts, and superintendents to ensure correct work sequencing. • Present design discrepancies to engineering management and prepare related change documentation. • Perform building control line and elevation measurements for accurate material installation. • Monitor construction progress and prepare monthly billings based on contractual agreements. • Execute additional assignments as directed by the Division Manager.
