About the Role
The on‑site Project Leader will drive control‑systems projects from planning through completion, acting as the primary liaison with customers while balancing project profitability and safety. Responsibilities include hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project close‑out, as well as overseeing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. • Lead on‑site control‑systems projects: plan, implement, and close out assignments • Design hardware and program software using established standards • Coordinate installation, commissioning, and warranty execution • Manage project budgets, billing, collections, and maintain profitability targets • Source and negotiate with vendors, subcontractors, and oversee payments • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to technicians and subcontractors • Prepare as‑built documentation, commissioning reports, and warranty letters • Communicate project status and financial forecasts to management monthly

What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least an associate degree in a technical field with two years of HVAC field experience, or four years of equivalent experience, and possess hands‑on expertise in digital HVAC control design and commissioning. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 (unless exempt) are required. Preferred qualifications include digital literacy, knowledge of control theory, and familiarity with project accounting and contracting. • Minimum associate degree with 2+ years HVAC field experience (or 4 years equivalent) • Proven hands‑on experience with digital HVAC control systems design and commissioning • Ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and work independently • Strong digital literacy; knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems preferred • Understanding of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting preferred • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 unless medically or religiously exempt
