About the Role
Cleaners maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in Sainsbury’s stores, performing daily tasks such as operating machinery, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping, cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and outdoor trolley bays, while adhering to health‑and‑safety procedures. Full training is provided. • Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping. • Clean interior areas (toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies) and exterior trolley bays. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide a smartphone with NFC for time‑and‑attendance recording via the Arcus Connect App.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, a positive attitude toward cleaning and customer service, and can provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect App. Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as on‑the‑job training is supplied. • Previous cleaning experience beneficial but not required; training provided.

Benefits
Shift patterns are varied, offering 5‑day or 6‑day weeks with early‑morning, morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends. The current schedule is Sunday 07:00‑12:00, Monday‑Thursday 06:00‑10:00, with Friday and Saturday off, and overtime opportunities may increase hours.
