About the Role

The Electrical Operations Manager oversees all electrical construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with codes and standards. This role leads project managers, superintendents, and field crews, driving operational efficiency, quality, and profitability across multiple projects. Core duties include managing multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, reviewing schedules, manpower plans, and procurement strategies, and monitoring job costs to protect margins. The manager supports change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation, mentors staff, coordinates staffing, enforces safety policies and OSHA regulations, and ensures compliance with NEC and local codes. Additionally, the role assists estimating teams, serves as a client liaison, and drives process improvements by tracking KPIs and reporting to executive leadership. • Oversee electrical construction projects from pre‑construction to closeout. • Review and adjust project schedules, manpower plans, and material procurement. • Monitor job cost reports and implement corrective actions to protect margins. • Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field staff. • Enforce OSHA safety policies and conduct site safety audits. • Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and project specifications. • Support estimating and pre‑construction teams with constructability reviews. • Act as primary contact for clients, general contractors, and inspectors. • Develop operational best practices and track KPIs for safety, productivity, schedule, and financial performance. • Provide regular status reports to executive leadership. • Provide professional development and certification assistance.

What You Bring

Candidates must have 8-12 years of electrical construction experience, including 3-5+ years in a supervisory or operations management capacity, strong knowledge of NEC and construction processes, and proficiency with construction management software such as AccuBid or Bluebeam. Preferred qualifications include a Journeyman or Master Electrician license, a bachelor's degree in construction-related fields, commercial or industrial project experience, and OSHA 30 certification. • Require 8‑12 years electrical construction experience and 3‑5+ years supervisory/operations management. • Proficient with construction management software (e.g., AccuBid, Bluebeam). • Preferred: Journeyman/Master Electrician license, bachelor’s degree, OSHA 30 certification.
