About the Role
The Supervisor, Accounts Payable at Viega oversees daily AP operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role serves as the primary contact for AP escalations, leads AP Specialists, enforces internal controls, and supports continuous process improvements. • Supervise, train, and coach AP team members, monitoring performance and providing development feedback. • Manage full‑cycle AP processes, including invoice entry, three‑way matching, payment processing, and issue resolution. • Serve as escalation point for complex AP issues and vendor inquiries. • Review and approve weekly check proposals and electronic payments. • Prepare and analyze AP aging reports and key performance indicators. • Develop and track AP metrics to improve team efficiency and identify improvement opportunities. • Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities. • Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the AP function. • Maintain internal controls over payments and vendor setup; support internal and external audits. • Collaborate with Procurement, Accounting, and Operations to ensure accurate, timely transaction processing. • Educate internal customers on AP invoice approval processes.

What You Bring
The position requires close collaboration with Procurement, Accounting, and Operations teams, as well as active participation in month‑end close activities and reporting. • Proficient with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP internal controls. • Ability to analyze payables and prepare statements, summaries, and recommendations per GAAP. • Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. • Effective oral and written communication across all organization levels. • Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 3–5 years of progressive AP experience (5+ years preferred). • Prior lead or supervisory experience is a plus.

Compensation includes a base salary of $69,000‑$93,000 annually, eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, vision, a wellness program, HSA contributions, voluntary life and disability coverage, a 401(k) plan with a 7.5% company match, and generous paid time off.
