Project Manager
Manage building projects across RIBA stages, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure outcomes
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Advise client on strategic brief, goals and objectives. • Support client in establishing and procuring the project team. • Define project success factors (time, cost, quality, environmental and social outcomes). • Define and agree project governance structure aligned to client and legislative requirements. • Produce a detailed project execution plan. • Establish reporting requirements and produce progress reports. • Lead and integrate multidisciplinary services across all project stages. • Establish and manage the change control process. • Monitor and advise on project performance against success indicators. • Implement performance management techniques using KPIs. • Establish communication strategy and information management plan across the project. • Manage commissions in accordance with the BMS process. • Oversee resourcing and commercial performance, managing risk and maximising opportunities. • Capture project capability and value evidence through case studies and client feedback. • Support account leaders to develop new business opportunities and cross‑sell solutions. • Manage bids through the WIN process. • Drive innovation to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery.

What You Bring
Mott MacDonald does not currently sponsor Skilled Worker visas following changes to the UK immigration route in April 2024, but welcomes applications from candidates eligible for alternative immigration routes. • Demonstrate alignment with Mott MacDonald PRIDE values. • Proven project management experience in the Buildings sector. • Knowledge and application of pre‑ and post‑contract project management and contract management methodologies. • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team. • Working towards or holding MAPM / MRICS / MCIOB or equivalent chartered status. • Strong relationship‑building skills with clients, teams and stakeholders. • Experience with NEC contract management. • Willingness to mentor and coach junior team members. • Excellent oral and written communication and organisational skills. • Soft skills: self‑motivation, initiative, leadership, adaptability, collaboration, influence and insight.
