About the Role

Key duties include administering or assisting with medication, maintaining accurate medical records, completing required training, and delivering resident care that preserves comfort, privacy, and dignity. • Administer prescribed medication and assist with self‑administration under RN/LPN supervision • Provide resident care according to each resident’s care plan • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with federal, state, and certification standards • Ensure resident comfort, privacy, and dignity during service delivery • Perform medication administration in accordance with state regulations • Adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain confidentiality

What You Bring

Candidates must have completed Medication Technician training with periodic competency testing, be able to administer medication per state regulations, possess strong communication skills, understand HIPAA, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have at least six months of experience with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long‑term care settings; availability for weekends and holidays and the ability to lift up to 50 lb are also required. • Complete required annual medication training • Completed Medication Technician training with periodic competency testing • Demonstrate strong communication skills and report changes in resident condition • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent • Minimum six months experience working with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long‑term care • Available to work weekends and holidays • Lift or carry up to 50 lb and use proper body mechanics

Benefits

The Medication Technician reports to the Director of Health & Wellness, is a non‑exempt hourly position, and works full‑time with a salary range of $23.00‑$25.00 per hour, providing quality care and medication assistance according to each resident's care plan and physician orders.
