About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will represent the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members. You will create basic designs under the direction of senior staff and develop specifications, system narratives, and layouts for a variety of project sizes. Additional responsibilities include establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects; supervising the preparation of reports and analysis of system options; maintaining interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and consultants; and monitoring correspondence among staff, clients, and contractors. You will also supervise construction administration tasks such as field reports, RFI responses, and processing bulletins and addenda, conduct periodic employee evaluations, participate in the Technical Leadership Committee, and assist the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with staff training and mentoring. • Represent the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams. • Create preliminary designs and develop specifications, system narratives, and layouts. • Establish design standards and supervise report preparation and system analysis. • Coordinate interdisciplinary efforts and monitor correspondence among stakeholders. • Oversee construction administration, including field reports, RFI responses, bulletins, and addenda. • Conduct employee evaluations and participate in the Technical Leadership Committee. • Assist technical leadership with training and mentoring of staff.

What You Bring
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution and PE licensure. Candidates should have 7–15 years of consulting firm experience in the MEP engineering industry, with healthcare design experience considered a plus. Hands‑on design and CAD/Revit skills are required, and project management abilities are advantageous. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and PE licensure; 7–15 years consulting MEP experience. • Possess healthcare design experience (inpatient and outpatient) and hands‑on CAD/Revit skills. • Demonstrate project management abilities and capability to lead internal design teams.
