About the Role
Drivers are responsible for safely operating a tractor‑trailer, straight truck, or pup trailer that requires a Class A CDL on assigned routes. They must comply with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state and federal regulations while keeping the vehicle clean and safe. Routine pre‑ and post‑trip inspections are recorded in the electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (eDVIR), and any unsafe conditions or service issues are reported immediately to the Operations Manager and Dispatch. The role includes active participation in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings, as well as collaboration with Operations Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiency and address problem or unsafe accounts. Drivers are expected to assist fellow drivers when directed, report incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage, and communicate customer requests or changes. At the end of each day, they complete all required documentation and ensure the customer site is left clean and free of debris. • Operate Class A CDL vehicle safely according to OSHA, DOT, and all regulatory requirements. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (eDVIR) and log any issues. • Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to Operations Manager and Dispatch. • Attend all mandatory training, briefings, and meetings and cooperate with management to improve route efficiency. • Assist other drivers as directed and cooperate with Operations Managers and Dispatch on problem or unsafe accounts. • Communicate customer requests, service changes, and container placement requirements to Operations Manager and Dispatch. • Ensure containers are dumped, positioned without blocking driveways, and that the customer site is left clean and debris‑free. • Complete all required documentation and check‑in procedures at the end of each route.

What You Bring
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work, and have a minimum of one year of recent experience operating a CDL‑required vehicle or equivalent military driving. A Commercial Driver License (Class A) is required, along with successful completion of a DOT drug screen, physical, and background check. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the job demands physical abilities such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking and hearing, often in inclement weather. • Must be 18 years or older, legally authorized to work, and hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License. • Possess at least one year of recent CDL vehicle operating experience or equivalent military driving within the past seven years. • Successfully pass DOT drug screening, physical examination, and background checks. • Preferred: High school diploma or GED. • Ability to meet physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking and hearing in various weather conditions.
