Job Highlights
About the Role
• Drive growth by shaping and capturing key water opportunities, including new business and renewals, through holistic capture plans. • Lead end‑to‑end pursuit strategies from early capture through PQQ, ITT, BAFO, interviews and post‑bid debriefs. • Coordinate marketing, technical, operational and commercial teams to develop winning solutions and positioning campaigns. • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline using data‑led insights to focus on high‑value activities. • Identify, select and lead strategic partnerships, joint ventures and consortiums, defining roles and value contributions. • Cultivate senior‑level client relationships with water utilities, regulators and public‑sector bodies, positioning AECOM as partner of choice. • Set commercial direction for major bids, including delivery models, risk appetite, pricing and value proposition. • Provide senior challenge and assurance to ensure solutions are deliverable, differentiated and commercially sound. • Lead and influence bid team members, aligning resources, partners and priorities across the organisation. • Guide technical writers to produce dynamic, compliant and persuasive content for proposals.

What You Bring
• Demonstrated experience winning major water sector contracts (typically £35 m + revenue) and leading multidisciplinary pursuit teams. • Strong technical background, executive‑level communication skills, commercial judgement and knowledge of the UK water regulatory environment.
