About the Role
The Sr. Capture Manager leads strategic growth and secures enterprise‑level pursuits for the Water Global Business line. Reporting to the Strategy and Growth lead, the role shapes winning strategies, fosters cross‑regional collaboration, and upholds operational excellence throughout the pursuit lifecycle, with flexible remote/virtual work and travel as needed. • Win major pursuits as the consultative sales process leader, creating competition‑beating win strategies. • Analyze competitive landscapes and leverage insights from recent wins and losses. • Promote collaboration across multidisciplinary teams globally to deliver client‑focused outcomes. • Ensure partnership between technical, marketing, and bidding staff for proposal best practices. • Champion the full sales lifecycle with quality assurance and Go/No‑Go rigor. • Coordinate with marketing to execute strategic campaigns aligned with key opportunities. • Ensure compliance with commercial, financial, legal, and governance contract elements. • Drive accountability for sales metrics and achieve high capture rates. • Align AECOM initiatives with client priorities on sustainability, resilience, and innovation. • Build and maintain a diversified pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with business goals. • Build trust with client decision‑makers and internal stakeholders, including CAMs and the Executive Board.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and bring extensive senior‑level experience, including at least 12 years in related fields and four years of business‑development leadership. Proven success in delivering sales metrics, crafting compelling value propositions, and managing multidisciplinary teams is essential. • Direct discovery, pre‑positioning, differentiation, and delivery strategies for transformative programs. • Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience at Director/Vice President level. • At least 12 years of related experience, including 4 years of leadership in business development strategy and team management. • Proven ability to deliver sales metrics and develop compelling value propositions. • Demonstrated success in winning major pursuits and leading multidisciplinary teams. • High energy, outgoing, self‑motivated with consultative sales expertise. • Relevant industry experience and experience in a global matrix organization.
