About the Role
The role involves leading the sales gas and condensate commissioning effort, guiding the commissioning team, EPC contractor and subcontractors, and coordinating with licensors and vendors to ensure activities follow approved procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures, verifying mechanical completion certificates, and ensuring system readiness for MC and RFSU certification. Additional duties encompass participating in commissioning and troubleshooting meetings, analyzing obstacles, approving the close‑out of punch‑lists, and ensuring handover methodologies comply with contractual requirements. The superintendent supports the Sr. Commissioning Manager by reviewing EPC contractor or vendor manuals and providing technical advice as needed. • Lead and guide the commissioning team, EPC contractor, and subcontractors for sales gas and condensate assets. • Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure compliance with their procedures. • Review and approve pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures, manuals, and mechanical completion certificates. • Verify system readiness for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready‑for‑Start‑Up (RFSU) certification. • Monitor and close out punch‑lists, ensuring handover aligns with contractual documents. • Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting meetings to resolve obstacles.

What You Bring
KBR is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent (Telecom) with offshore site experience on mega EPC projects for a PMC assignment in Abu Dhabi. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and possess at least twenty years of commissioning or operation‑readiness experience, preferably in the GCC region, with a minimum of five years in similar Oil & Gas or petrochemical roles, especially in sour‑gas, hydrogen production, or hydro‑desulfurization projects. • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mandatory). • Minimum 20 years of commissioning/operation‑readiness experience, preferably in the GCC region. • At least 5 years in a similar role on Oil & Gas or petrochemical projects, especially sour‑gas, hydrogen, or hydro‑desulfurization. • Offshore site experience on mega EPC projects.
