About the Role
Carrier Qatar is looking for a highly driven Residential and Light Commercial Unit Manager to lead the residential and light‑commercial HVAC equipment business, including VRF systems. The role is responsible for managing sales performance, driving strategic growth, and delivering innovative HVAC solutions to residential and commercial clients. The manager will oversee key account development, pricing strategies, forecasting, and coordination with engineering and operations to ensure customer satisfaction and business profitability. • Lead and manage the sales strategy for DX equipment, rooftop packages, air handling units, and VRF systems. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, including stocking channels. • Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and key HVAC stakeholders in Qatar. • Mentor, coach, and support the sales team to achieve individual and team KPIs, providing regular training. • Oversee the sales pipeline from lead generation through order booking, monitoring project status and risks. • Ensure profitability through effective pricing, margin control, and value‑added solutions; coordinate with finance on forecasting and budgeting. • Provide clients with technical consultation and commercial proposals, collaborating with engineering and factory teams. • Act as the primary escalation point for customer issues and ensure technical feasibility of solutions. • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs; generate regular reports and strategic recommendations.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred). • Minimum 10 years HVAC experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. • In‑depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems (DX, VRF, Package, BMS integration) and strong commercial acumen. • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; fluent in English, Arabic an advantage.
