About the Role
The Senior Quality Manager will drive quality planning, control, and continuous improvement, collaborating with project managers, superintendents, and various engineers while mentoring team members and fostering professional development. • Lead planning, development, and implementation of the Quality Management Plan for projects from notice to proceed through final acceptance. • Establish and manage quality control initiatives, including the three‑phase inspection process and corrective actions. • Review project plans for quality requirements before issuing construction drawings. • Manage quality events, corrective actions, punch‑list identification and closeout, and Non‑Conformance Notices through the RFI process. • Resolve issues independently or with guidance from project leadership. • Coach, mentor, and develop Quality Managers, Engineers, and project personnel; assign jobs and manage career development. • Train staff on Mortenson’s Quality System, Kaizen event roles, and visual management practices.

What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead, document, monitor, and analyze the quality system across one or more major projects, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Mortenson provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals and requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. • Require a Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management and at least seven years of experience leading a project’s quality system. • Possess knowledge of quality systems such as Malcolm Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, Army Corps of Engineers, or similar continuous‑improvement frameworks. • Experience in design/build projects and issue management, including inspection of completed work. • Maintain a current driver’s license. • Visa sponsorship is not offered; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Benefits
