About the Role
As an OnTheMarket Business Development Consultant covering Newcastle, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Teeside, you will manage and grow an existing client base while actively sourcing new business. Working within a dynamic, entrepreneurial sales team, you will sell, train and retain clients across the full OTM product suite, representing the brand at industry events and contributing to the portal’s market leadership. • Develop business growth by sourcing, generating, and building new OTM opportunities. • Understand and promote the full OTM product suite to meet customer needs. • Identify new sales leads and contact potential clients. • Meet new and existing clients in person and negotiate business terms. • Collaborate with senior team members to manage risks and communicate results. • Host and attend industry events, networking with property professionals. • Grow and retain client relationships over the medium and long term, delivering excellent service. • Navigate large organisations to identify decision‑makers, influencers and blockers.

What You Bring
• Maintain a proven track record of sales success, preferably in online marketplaces or B2B environments. • Demonstrate outstanding communication, presentation, and objection‑handling skills. • Work to metrics with strong organisational abilities. • Hold a degree or equivalent experience and employ a consultative selling style. • Possess a valid driver’s licence and pass a driving record check.
