Job Highlights
About the Role
• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates throughout design and delivery phases. • Produce monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and funding data for stakeholders. • Coordinate cost information from design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for validation and auditing. • Compile built cost records for benchmarking and continuous improvement. • Lead procurement strategy, pricing reviews, scope validation, and commercial negotiations. • Manage final accounts and ensure timely agreement. • Own change control: review, estimate, negotiate, and reconcile change orders and post‑contract variances. • Support cost risk analysis, scenario planning, contingency management, and commitment tracking. • Implement robust cost control systems, including Earned Value Management where applicable. • Integrate cost with schedule and scope, collaborating with project controls and scheduling teams. • Drive engineering priorities based on cost impact and lead value engineering initiatives. • Monitor market trends (escalation, labor availability, material pricing) and provide timely insights. • Serve as the primary client interface ensuring service excellence. • Prepare and present executive‑level updates and comments on contractor submissions. • Ensure adherence to internal business management systems and delivery methodologies. • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a high‑performance culture. • Manage financial performance, including margin tracking and monthly forecasts. • Comply with SOX controls where applicable.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. • 5–7+ years of cost management/project controls experience in mission‑critical environments such as data centers. • Construction consultancy experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and hyperscale data‑center infrastructure. • Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, cost control systems, and Earned Value Management. • Expertise in procurement strategies and commercial contract management. • RICS accreditation or progress toward certification is advantageous. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail. • Proficiency with industry‑standard cost management tools and software.

The salary range for this full‑time role is $140,000‑$165,000 per year, reflecting base salary only and subject to adjustment based on experience.
