About the Role

The Job Summary: the role manages productivity, financial and overall performance of multiple recycling operating units, ensuring they meet or exceed annual objectives and successfully implement organizational initiatives. It collaborates with functional and MRF managers to identify, evaluate, and coordinate operational improvements while replicating best practices across facilities in the market area. • Provide operations support to material recycling facilities (MRFs) in the market area. • Identify operational challenges with the Operations Director and MRF managers and implement best‑practice improvements. • Analyze productivity performance with managers and develop continuous‑improvement plans. • Work with EH&S and MRF managers to ensure safe operations across all facilities. • Promote benchmarks and assist managers in labor management planning. • Coordinate and coach Operating Standards Guidelines (OSG) processes. • Partner with pricing, sales and other teams to analyze pricing and customer profitability and take corrective actions. • Introduce and coach fundamentals of the Business Improvement Program (BIP) and prioritize process improvements. • Facilitate budget planning by analyzing year‑to‑date data versus prior year and budget. • Complete economic justification models to support capital improvements. • Support standard operating procedures for recycling operations. • Conduct periodic operational and financial reviews with facility management, covering maintenance, labor and revenue.

What You Bring

Preferred Skills, Experience and License include experience leading multiple recycling or manufacturing sites, diverse team leadership, P&L management, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a valid driver's license. Travel is 50% or more throughout the New England and Upstate New York market area. The role offers a hybrid schedule with one work‑from‑home day per week, typically Friday, as business permits. Required qualifications are an accredited bachelor’s degree (or a high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience), at least seven years of relevant work experience, and three years as an industrial engineer or project manager in a manufacturing environment or three years in operations, district management, or a related industry.
