About the Role

The position requires overseeing a portfolio of customer accounts, driving efficient collection strategies, and monitoring credit limits, aged debt, and payment trends. It also involves reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and escalating risk issues as needed. Additionally, the role supports month‑end and month‑beginning financial processes, including cash posting reviews and bad‑debt reporting. • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt • Drive efficient collection strategies to optimize accounts receivable performance • Proactively contact customers regarding overdue payments via email, phone, and supplier portals • Monitor customer credit limits, aged debt, payment trends, and cash allocation • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly • Assess and manage risks on customer accounts, escalating issues as required • Conduct credit checks for new clients and follow formal approval workflows • Evaluate customer credit profiles to minimize financial exposure • Review customer accounts to ensure all cash postings and allocations are completed • Provide updates on overdue debt and expected cash to support month‑end revenue forecasting • Prepare and report bad debt provisions in line with territory reporting requirements • Work with Jira Service Management dashboards • Use internal Schneider tools integrated with Dynamics D365 • Maintain a proactive, organised approach to a high‑volume workload • Enable participation in WESOP share‑ownership scheme

Experience with Power BI and the Dynamics 365 accounting system is advantageous, and training is provided where required. Success in this role depends on meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, and the ability to manage a high‑volume workload proactively.
