The CAD Operator will develop technical drawings using AutoCAD or Bentley, perform quality checks on complex plans, conduct calculations, maintain the drawing database, and may supervise or train CAD staff. The position requires minimal supervision, coordination of work activities to meet schedules, and familiarity with Kimley‑Horn’s practices and standards. Candidates must have a high school diploma (associate’s degree preferred) and at least six years of relevant experience. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley software, strong attention to detail, professional communication, teamwork, self‑start attitude, and a solid work ethic are required. • Hold a high school diploma (associate’s degree preferred). • Possess 6+ years of relevant CAD experience. • Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Autodesk or Bentley products. • Exhibit detail‑orientation, strong communication, and teamwork skills. • Self‑starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
