About the Role

The role supports warehouse operations by performing tasks such as loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. You will ensure products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, securely packaged, and handled in a safe, efficient, and dependable manner. The position follows clearly prescribed processes and seeks supervisor guidance for non‑routine issues. Under close supervision, you will exercise limited independent judgment and work with detailed checks or senior review of output. • Loads, unloads, sorts, picks, stocks, stages, and transports materials throughout the warehouse and yard. • Prepares items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods. • Verifies product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping. • Installs protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport. • Operates forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently. • Maintains a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. • Assists customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials. • May drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.

What You Bring

The work environment is generally comfortable but includes exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions; occasional travel is less than 10 % of the time. A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, and 0‑2 years of related experience is typical. Candidates should be able to operate forklifts safely, understand basic shipping and receiving procedures, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and safety. • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. • Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials. • Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
