About the Role
The role includes general plant labor and clean‑up, material handling, stockpiling, and plant maintenance such as cutting, welding, and belt splicing. The technician will also operate equipment like bobcats, skid steers, haul trucks, dozers, and track hoes, run a water truck for dust control, and perform daily inspections and pre‑shift reports. • Perform general plant labor and clean‑up of production areas. • Handle material movement, stockpiling, and assist with plant operations. • Conduct plant maintenance tasks such as cutting, welding, roller and bearing changes, and belt splicing. • Operate heavy equipment including bobcat, skid steer, haul truck, dozer, and track hoe. • Run water truck to control dust on roadways. • Report equipment problems to management and aid in equipment upkeep. • Complete daily equipment inspections and pre‑shift reports. • Assist coworkers as needed or directed by supervisors. • Maintain an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

What You Bring
Candidates must demonstrate an uncompromising focus on safety, be self‑motivated, and able to work without constant supervision. Preferred qualifications include prior welding and cutting experience, heavy‑equipment operation background, and familiarity with aggregate operations, while all applicants must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed. • Demonstrate self‑motivation and the ability to work without constant supervision. • Possess prior welding and cutting experience (preferred). • Have experience operating various heavy‑equipment types (preferred). • Be willing to work weekends and overtime when required. • Pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
