About the Role
In this role the manager provides highway design and Bentley CAD support, ensures quality assurance across multiple moderate‑to‑large projects, and offers situational guidance to solve design challenges. They collaborate with project managers and TEC leads, work with the National Digital Delivery team to implement new processes, and provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and staffing oversight to deliver high‑quality outputs. • Oversee Northeast regional CAD and digital delivery operations, coordinating staff and project workflows. • Provide highway design and Bentley CAD support for multiple moderate‑to‑large projects. • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with industry and NYSDOT standards. • Collaborate with project managers, TEC leads, and the National Digital Delivery team to implement new processes and technologies. • Deliver technical guidance, troubleshoot CADD issues, and manage staffing assignments and delivery schedules. • Maintain and enforce WSP policies, best practices, and workflow documentation. • Mentor staff and support professional development.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 10 years in civil transportation infrastructure, and 10 years as a design supervisor and CAD manager/coordinator. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and CAD management skills, expertise with Bentley ProjectWise, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and advanced 3D roadway modeling, as well as deep knowledge of NY‑SDOT standards and QA/QC procedures. Preferred qualifications include Bentley OpenRoads Designer certification, 25 + years of civil transportation experience, and 15 + years in supervisory CAD roles. • Required: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 10+ years civil transportation infrastructure experience, 10+ years design supervision and CAD management, expertise in Bentley ProjectWise, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and 3D roadway modeling. • Preferred: Bentley OpenRoads Designer certification, 25+ years civil transportation experience, 15+ years supervisory CAD roles.
