About the Role
The Cleaner works under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor to perform a variety of custodial duties for Cushman & Wakefield Services, following the company's established standards, instructions, and procedures. The role is part of the Floor Technician position, scheduled for the second shift, and involves maintaining cleanliness across building interiors. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and other surfaces, operating both light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines, and vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas. The Cleaner also spot‑cleans and shampoos rugs as directed, dusts furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, and light fixtures, and performs periodic high dusting. Additional tasks involve washing interior glass, windowsills, and walls, maintaining and restocking bathrooms, collecting and disposing of trash, replacing liners, and removing snow from entrances and walkways. Periodic work such as leather and wood polishing, wall washing, and any other assigned duties are also performed. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other indoor surfaces. • Operate light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs and perform spot cleaning and periodic shampooing. • Conduct high dusting of horizontal surfaces and ceilings. • Clean interior glass, windowsills, and wash walls as needed. • Maintain and restock bathrooms, clean fixtures, and monitor for defects. • Collect and dispose of building trash, replace liners, and manage waste containers. • Remove snow from building entrances and walkways as directed. • Perform periodic leather and wood polishing, wall washing, and other assigned tasks. • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate as part of a team. • Use cleaning equipment, including backpack‑style portable vacuums.
