Job Highlights
About the Role
• Assist with planning and coordination of sub‑contractor activities. • Oversee construction crafts/trades within the assigned area. • Receive supervision and technical direction from the superintendent or project manager. • Enforce field management policies, procedures, and work rules. • Support compliance with the AECOM Tishman safety program. • Maintain document control systems and update drawings, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes. • Interface with client, architect, and design professionals as required. • Facilitate communication among field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors. • Continuously expand professional knowledge and training skills. • Prequalify bidders and compile bidder lists for owner approval. • Prepare bid packages including scope, drawings, specifications, alternates, bond forms, insurance documents, MWBE and safety riders, and logistics plans. • Distribute bid packages to qualified bidders and open bids on schedule. • Attend walk‑throughs in the field. • Participate in scope review meetings and issue addenda for scope and pricing revisions. • Attend minority outreach events. • Write award letters to clients and prepare contracts after award. • Ensure receipt of hard‑copy bonds once the contract is executed.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, engineering management or a related technical field. Preferred experience includes construction, engineering, design, internships with large general contractors, and familiarity with construction‑specific software and Microsoft Office. The position does not offer sponsorship for U.S. work authorization, relocation assistance, and requires successful completion of a pre‑employment substance‑abuse test. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. • Prior experience in construction, engineering, or design (preferred). • Experience with large general contractors or relevant internships. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to construction‑related computer programs.
