Maintain and repair heavy mining/quarry equipment at Princeton and Cadiz sites

About the Role
The mechanic will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on a wide variety of mining and quarry equipment as well as fixed plant equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing major components such as engines, brake systems, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drivetrains, heating/cooling, and electrical systems. Additional duties involve welding, fabricating, maintaining maintenance records, inspecting machines, and handling parts procurement and storage. • Perform repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on mining, quarry, and plant equipment • Troubleshoot and repair major systems including engines, brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, drivetrains, heating/cooling, and electrical components • Weld, fabricate, and maintain accurate maintenance and work order records • Inspect machines for defects and manage parts cataloging, procurement, and storage • Operate service truck and company vehicle on public highways; maintain a clean driving record

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of experience working on heavy equipment and a strong focus on safety excellence. Required skills include operating mobile equipment, driving a company vehicle with a clean driving record, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lb, climbing to heights of 20 ft, and performing work in all weather conditions. A DOT medical exam and card, as well as the ability to pass a motor‑vehicle‑record check, are mandatory. • Meet physical demands: lift 50 lb, climb 20 ft, work in all weather conditions • Hold a valid DOT medical card and pass a motor‑vehicle‑record check • Minimum five years of heavy‑equipment mechanic experience; strong safety focus
