About the Role

The Talent Strategy, Planning and Execution role for the ANZ region partners with the P&C Director to design and execute talent management initiatives that align with global frameworks. This position drives talent reviews, succession planning, and data‑driven insights to support retention and capability development across the region. Key responsibilities include developing regional talent strategies, leading cyclical talent reviews, and maintaining governance of talent data. The role also analyses internal and external talent metrics to shape retention and succession plans, while partnering with business leaders to forecast talent needs and create actionable solutions. The incumbent acts as the primary liaison between ANZ and global talent teams, ensures effective communication, and oversees AECOM University learning governance, including training procedures and learning hours. They coach top talent, embed talent principles with managers, and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout talent initiatives. Additional duties cover performance and promotions reporting, designing the promotions workflow, and delivering early‑career programs such as virtual instructor‑led trainings for graduates and interns. The role also manages onboarding materials, leads the Discover AECOM program, and supports employee engagement through pulse surveys and action planning. • Develop and implement regional talent management strategies aligned with global frameworks. • Lead cyclical talent reviews, succession planning, and development processes across ANZ. • Analyze internal and external talent data to inform retention and capability strategies. • Partner with business leaders to forecast talent needs and create actionable plans. • Maintain governance of talent review data and capture insights for action. • Serve as primary liaison between ANZ and global talent teams to ensure alignment. • Oversee AECOM University learning governance, including training procedures and learning hours. • Coach top talent and embed talent principles with managers and leaders. • Identify, develop, and retain high‑potential employees and future leaders. • Manage talent assessments, coaching setups, and development planning. • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within talent management. • Conduct pulse surveys, analyze results, and support regional action planning. • Support ANZ performance and promotions reporting and generate evaluation reports. • Design and manage the ANZ promotions process, including workflows and communications. • Lead scheduling and delivery of virtual instructor‑led trainings and events for graduates and interns. • Manage onboarding materials and lead the Discover AECOM program governance.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a tertiary qualification in Business or a related field and bring at least seven years of relevant experience. Required skills include talent management design, employee engagement, advanced data analysis and storytelling, commercial acumen, and awareness of market trends in talent management. • Hold a tertiary qualification in Business or related field with 7+ years experience. • Demonstrated expertise in talent management, employee engagement, data storytelling, and commercial acumen.
