Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

About the Role

• Work in a hybrid environment emphasizing functional testing and end‑to‑end automation of product features. • Build and enhance automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and tools such as Postman, RestAssured, Playwright, or Cypress. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support scalable parallel execution. • Create and manage test plans, test data automation, and validation strategies aligned with Agile workflows. • Perform peer reviews of test code, advocate quality best practices, and improve test coverage and maintainability. • Maintain quality metrics and dashboards to track testing progress and report insights to leadership.

What You Bring

• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. • 7+ years of hands‑on experience building optimized backend/API automation with tools like Postman or RestAssured. • Strong Java and JavaScript/TypeScript coding skills for automated tests. • Experience with frontend/UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. • Solid understanding of CI/CD and integration of test automation with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. • Hands‑on experience using performance testing tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter. • Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and reusable test frameworks. • Experience testing or deploying applications on AWS services (Lambda, CloudWatch, EC2, etc.). • Knowledge of frontend testing strategies including component, visual regression, and cross‑browser testing. • Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot. • Willingness to take on challenges and step outside the comfort zone to grow.
