About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and by installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. • Promote safety by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document them. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment (belts, motors, sensors, relays). • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts used, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility. • Work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and travel 6‑12 miles daily.

What You Bring

The role requires physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders or an aerial lift, and regularly lift up to 50 lb while wearing required PPE. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, involves 6‑12 miles of daily travel between departments, floors and properties, and includes computer work for work‑order documentation. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles; experience with CMMS. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules or shifts. • Associate degree or higher in mechanical or electrical field preferred. • Familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines. • Experience operating and maintaining robotic systems. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, reach overhead, kneel, squat, and use aerial lifts.
