About the Role
Senior Operations Analyst – Automation at Johnson Controls focuses on overseeing critical IT operational processes to meet performance objectives and ensure reliable service delivery. The analyst will monitor infrastructure and application components, continuously improve incident, problem, change, and release management practices, and ensure that all activities align with service level agreements. Working within the global Automation Center of Excellence, the professional will collaborate with the Automation Operations Team Lead and peers to design, implement, and refine automated solutions using UiPath (including Agents and Maestro) and Microsoft Power Platform (featuring Copilot). • Coordinate major incident response across IT teams, provide real‑time updates, and oversee automated resolution support. • Manage performance and availability of business‑critical applications, implementing remedial solutions to reduce downtime. • Conduct post‑implementation reviews and refine incident and problem management procedures on a regular basis. • Execute technical change management by building, testing, documenting, and deploying changes while maintaining change records and engaging the Change Advisory Board as needed. • Contribute subject‑matter expertise to project teams throughout the technology enablement lifecycle, especially in design and integration phases. • Advise clients on business‑process optimization, measuring organizational capabilities and collaborating with technology specialists and strategic partners. • Develop and maintain automated workflows in UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform, emphasizing code quality, reproducibility, and scalability. • Lead communication efforts during system outages, ensuring timely advisories to stakeholders. • Streamline routine user requests and repetitive tasks through automation to lower incident recurrence.

What You Bring
Candidates should possess advanced proficiency with UiPath and Power Platform, solid understanding of object‑oriented and low‑code programming, and strong troubleshooting capabilities, complemented by excellent communication and leadership skills. The position offers continuous learning through certifications and training in areas such as ServiceNow, Azure, AI, and machine‑learning, supporting career growth in emerging automation technologies. • Required: advanced skills in UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform, strong OOP and low‑code knowledge, expert troubleshooting, and fluent business English. • Preferred: experience with UiPath Agents, Maestro, Microsoft Copilot, React, Python/.NET, Windows Server, networking concepts, and SQL Server.
