About the Role

The estimating team delivers a wide range of outputs, including order‑of‑magnitude to detailed first‑principles estimates, estimating assurance, support for major programme set‑up, and estimating data. These deliverables help clients make informed decisions throughout project lifecycles. • Produce accurate, comprehensive estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects. • Independently manage the estimating process at project level. • Deliver a range of estimating outputs: order‑of‑magnitude to detailed first‑principles estimates, assurance, programme support, and data. • Promote and develop estimating best practices across the firm. • Contribute to departmental objectives and stay current with technical developments.

What You Bring

The firm is recruiting senior estimators with proven experience in infrastructure sectors such as rail, airports, highways, power, water or utilities. Positions are available in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester, and estimators may work remotely within the UK while supporting UK‑based and global clients. Estimators act as embedded resources for client organisations or provide ad‑hoc services through the Turner & Townsend Estimating Hub. • Hold a high‑standard qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant large‑project experience. • Demonstrated proficiency with estimating software packages. • Membership (or progression) in a chartered professional body such as RICS, CIOB, or A.C.E. • Available to work in London, Birmingham, Bristol, or Manchester, with remote flexibility for UK‑based work.
