About the Role
• Welcome members and guests at the door with a smile and warm greeting, using guest name whenever possible. • Maintain eye contact and correct posture. • Manage reservations and walk‑ins in an organized fashion. • Schedule reservations over the phone, email, or in‑person requests. • Ensure all members and guests with reservations have their required table before arrival. • Lead guests to the appropriate table according to party size. • Thank guests and members for their patronage and invite them to return. • Assist in seeing all club policy, procedures, and standards are being met by all staff.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum six months of experience in a fine‑dining or high‑volume environment at a high‑end restaurant, resort, or private club. • Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety standards; possess or obtain a State Food Safety Certificate. • Knowledge of food and beverage operations. • Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service. • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to serve members, guests, and team members. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest times. • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred. • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for more than eight hours, and lifting items sometimes greater than fifty pounds.
