About the Role
This position is based out of our Burlington, Ontario facility and is scheduled to start in May 2026. The intern will work with the marketing team to capture market and customer requirements and produce a product requirement document. The role supports engineering automation initiatives, software integration, and continuous‑improvement projects across power distribution assembly products. • Build automated tools to digitize and streamline drawing/model generation for power distribution assembly products. • Develop custom software utilities that integrate with engineering systems such as CAD, PLM, JIRA, and SharePoint. • Troubleshoot and maintain automation scripts and software tools. • Support development of virtual integration tools for engineering data and product documentation. • Participate in HMI screen design and prototyping. • Maintain and enhance firmware development environments (e.g., GitHub). • Contribute to Power BI dashboards visualizing engineering and project data. • Provide support for continuous‑improvement projects that enhance department efficiency and repeatability.

What You Bring
Candidates must be enrolled in a Computer Engineering or Computer Science program (preferably third year) and demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, and an interest in learning new software and automation techniques.
